Torre Paponi towers on the hill between olive groves and beckons its visitors to take a walk in the Italy of the past.
Buildings from different epochs can be seen on the nicely designed and well marked path through the village. The water fountain from the 13th century and the chapel from the 14th century are particularly remarkable.
The main highlight of Torre Paponi is the La pignatta d’oro restaurant at the heart of the village. There you will eat at candlelight in a romantic vaulted cellar and thereafter you can enjoy wines from the region in the stylishly furnished bar.
The mountain landscape around the village offers various walking and mountain-bike routes and you can reach the popular San Lorenzo al Mare spa after approx. 8 km.
