Stella consists of 5 municipality parts, which together with their churches, San Giovanni Battista, San Bernardo, San Giacomo, San Martino and Santa Caterina, form the 5 star peaks.

The annual "Polvere di Stelle" (star powder) show takes place during the last weekend in August. One can then admire theater actors, jugglers and folklore groups in Stella San Giovanni.
