In the shadow of the castle of Malaspina Calice al Cornoviglio in Val di Vara, in the hinterland of the Riviera of the Levante is situated the Apartment Casetta Montemarcello. The area is ideal for hiking and mountain biking, canyoning friends will be impressed by the Vara valley. The Casetta Montemarcello is quiet in the village of Calice, and can accommodate 3 persons. The bedroom with a comfortable double bed is located on the 2nd Floor and is reached by a ladder.On the lower floor is the spacious kitchen with dining area and a sofa chair.The bathroom has a shower to sit. On the balcony you can enjoy the panoramic views of the Vara Valley. The village has a small grocery store and a very good restaurant that is located in the old castle. The famous Cinque Terre, Lerici and the legendary coastal towns Tellaro can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.

Calice al Cornoviglio is a small ligurian mountain village which lies in the Parco Regionale di Montemarcello within the Vara valley. The region is perfect for mountain-biking, hiking, rafting, canyoning and fishing.


You will find an Alimentari (grocery store), a coffee shop and a very good restaurant in the small village. The restaurant lies in one wing of a castle you can also visit. You can also visit a very interesting museum within the castle.
