The La Cisetta lies in the beautiful mountain village of Degli Faraldi, only a few kilometers away from the popular coastal town of Cervo. The holiday apartment provides accommodation for up to six people and comprises two double bedrooms, a large and beautifully furnished living room, spacious kitchen as well as a bathroom with shower. The La Cisetta also has two terraces; on the larger one you can bake your own pizzas in the stone oven belonging to the house and enjoy them, with your loved ones, over a bottle of regional wine in the mild evenings

A calming contrast to the lively coast is Cervo, located on a hill that gently slopes down to the sea. The town is dominated by the arts. An example of which is the church of San Giovanni Battista which is one of the most meaningful attestations of baroque architecture in Liguria.
The church was designed by the architect Gio Batta Marvaldi and was dedicated to the workers of Cervo, who became rich through fishing and coral trade and whose donations helped build the church.

The forecourt of the church, which is adorned with wonderful 18th century piece-works, plays host each year in Summer to the International festival of Chamber Music and is a perfect open-air venue for music lovers.


High up on the hill of Cervo is the Clavasana Castle. Perched atop the rocks, the castle has been renovated many times over the years but still serves its purpose of defense as can be see by the arrow-slits and bastions exhibited.

The ethnographic museum of the western Riviera also calls Cervo its home.

In the town center of Cervo you will see rows of two and three story houses tightly lining the curvy alleys.

As most of the houses have not been changed within the last century, most of them still exhibit the antique archway entrances.
From castle square there is a wonderful path which takes you on a great little walk through the olive groves and thick fir forest to an unforgettable and unparalleled view of the Gulf of Diano. The stone bays at the foot of the hill are perfect for sunbathers and water rats.

The restaurants of Diano and the surrounding area are known for their refined recipe variations, most of which are inspired by the local, freshly caught fish; from a calamari salad to risotto alla Marinara to black calamaribrisotto to just plain old grilled, but great tasting, fish.

Abends Spaziergänge machen in verschiedene Orte. 144km (2 Std fahren) nach Porto Fino. 1 Std fahren nach Monaco. Algemeine Eindruck Positiv, das Haus ist sehr gemütlich. Die Leute im Ort Deglio Firaldi sind sehr nett. Auch der Vermieter war sehr schnell anwesend als wir kein Butangas mehr vorhanden hatten (Nachdem ich Blumenriviera angerufen hatte innerhalb von einer halben Stunde anwesend). Der Privacy wird hoch geschätzt vom Vermieter. Sehr nette Leute!

TV und Radio fehlt. Die Altstadt von Genua ist sehr sehenswert inkl Aquarium - Der Strand ist auf der Diana Marina Seite schöner als San Bartolomeo

In der weiteren Umgebung das Städtchen Noli und in der näheren Umgebung unbedingt Laigueglia. Man sollte sich nicht von der Durchfahrsstraße (Aurelia) abschrecken lassen.

1. Das Restaurant ai Torki direkt in Deglio Faraldi - hervorragendes Essen, aber natürlich nicht ganz billig. Das Restaurant ist stark von Einheimischen frequentiert, die auch aus weiterer Entfernung kommen. Reservierung ein bis zwei Tage vorher ist ein Muss. 2. Tagestour Dolcedo (sehr schöner Ort), von dort über die Berge (nicht die Strada Stradale !) nach Pieco di Teve (auch ein schöner Ort....) Die Fahrt über die Berge ist sehr interessant aufgrund der wechselnden Vegetation - erst Oliven, dann fast schon deutsche Wälder, dann nur noch Sträucher. Ganz oben auf der Passhöhe ein wunderbarer Ausblick bis zum Mittelmeer und auf die umliegenden Berge. Dieser Tag war ein echtes Highlight. 3. Cervo - den Ort muss man gesehen haben. 4. Alassio - schön zum Einkaufen und schlendern in der Fussgängerzone - ansehen muss man sich dort die Muretto di Alassio

lieber einen kleineren tisch und dafür eine gemütliche sitzecke, gemütlichkeit durch bilder an den wänden erhöhen, den backofen anschließen und die küchenausstattung erhöhen (angefangen bei schneebesen, kaffeemaschine, toaster, haken im bad, damit man auch mal handtücher aufhängen kann cervo, alassio sind schöne ausflugsziele, aber der strand ist zu voll und man muss die liegen dort teuer bezahlen. uns hat diano marina am besten gefallen (vom strand und der übersichtlichkeit her), in deglio faraldi gibt es ein hervorragendes restaurant "ai toki" - recht preiswerte menues, sehr gute oliven/olivenöl und sehr netter service. am wochenende sollte man allerdings reservieren.
