The beautiful and elegant holiday apartment Villaregia DeLuxe 1 has ample room for four people and is located on the beach in Riva Ligure. The popular seaside locality is very attractive and has some fine restaurants, sandy and stony beaches, as well as the trail “La Passegiata al Mare” for those who like sporting activities. There is a double bedroom with king sized bed, a living area with breakfast kitchen and daybed, as well as a bathroom with shower at your disposal. The kitchen can neatly and easily disappear behind a cabinet. You can also enjoy the invigorating sound of the waves on the balcony, which embraces the whole apartment. The elegant marble decor, wooden flooring and beautiful paintings in combination with modern styling will take you swiftly back to a bygone age.

The harbour can hold up to 150 small boats.
A resting place in Roman times for those who were travelling to Gaul, Riva began to develop as a town in late mediaeval times, as can be seen from the remains from certain churches, including a christening font.
Life was not easy along this coast around the eleventh century due to the frequent pirate raids (a square-based watchtower still survives): following one of many such incursions Riva was almost completely abandoned.
Things then got slowly back to normal: we have to wait until 1049 before finding another document mentioning the town - a legal deed establishing the border of "Ripa" at the church of San Maurizio.
This Romanesque church, today the sanctuary of the Buon Consiglio, stands on the site occupied by the town of Villaregia in the late Middle Ages. This had jurisdiction over a vast stretch of territory between the San Lorenzo and Argentina Valleys. Inside the church you can admire paintings by Luigi Morgari. A wooden sculpture of San Giovanni by Maragliano can be seen in the seventeenth-century oratory of San Giovanni Battista. Seventeenth-century Palazzo Carrega is now the town hall.
As you go inland, the road is not very steep up to an altitude of 200 metres. There are some pleasant walks to be made on the hillsides among the many cultivated-flower fields. Excavations on Monte Grange have discovered objects dating from the Neolithic period. The poet Francesco Pastonchi was born in Riva Ligure.

toll wäre noch die Anschaffung eines Staubsaugers (aber vielleicht haben wir ihn ja auch bloß nicht gefunden). Nach einem Strandbesuch kommt immer Sand in die Wohnung; mit Kehren kriegt man den Sand nie komplett raus

Neuen Toaster bestellen :-) sonst alles super! Wir waren in Monaco und Nizza - super toll und nicht weit zu fahren - bester Sandstrand in Richtung San Remo (ca. 100m weg). Ich hab nichts zu mecker und bin des Lobes voll!! Vielen herzlichen Dank

Toll: San Remo, Botanischer Garten Hanburry in Ventigmilia, unbedingt: Monaco, auch Imperia zum shoppen (Nicht so teuer wie San remo)., eine Rundfahrt mit Auto durch die Ligurischen Berge..., Grotte von Toiona sonst alles I.O. das Wetter war klasse!!!

Einen deutschen Fernsehsender bzw. eine gute Empfangsqualität wäre gerade auch bei Reisen mit Kindern von Vorteil. Auch sollten noch mehrere große Kaffeetassen vorhanden sein. Ansonsten ist das Objekt perfekt. Am Besten den Marco Polo Reiseführer für Ligurien kaufen und von vorne bis hinten alles anschauen. Unbedingtes muss ist ein Abstecher nach Monaco und ein Besuch der Hanburry Gärten. Herzlichen Dank für die schönen elf Tage!!

Die Pizzeria am Parkplatz direkt am Meer ein Stück zurück Richtung Arma di Taggia ist gut (Holzofenpizza)und preiswert. Laterna soll auch gut sein, war aber leider schon zu (beides Riva Ligure).

gefehlt hat ein Wasserkocher, sonst alles vorhanden. gute Ausstattung Supermarkt Leclerc gute solide Abwicklung der Buchung, Schlüsselübergabe perfekt, Übergabe bei Abreise perfekt.

Gar keine, das Objekt ist super Wohnung und Terasse super! Beim Garten gehört das Tor zum Strand geöffnet, das war ein bißchen umständlich rundherum zu gehen, aber auch nicht tragisch San Remo, Imperia, Nizza, Cannes, Monte Carlo auch ab in die Berge, herrliche kleine Ortschaften einfach eure Dateien genau durchlesen. Danke für den tollen Urlaub und bis zum nächsten Jahr

The furniture was e bit too elegant for us treveling with two children. We loved the place but didn`t need all the stuff. What we could have used were more dravers and more crooks ( for hanging clots and towels) Rent bikes for the hole period. Take a trip to the inland. Take a biketrip to San Remo. Go to Cervo (if you have a car)Eat icecream.

Auf der Terrasse wären bequeme Sessel sehr schön (dzt. stilisierte Metallsessel, die natürlich zwar schön sind, aber unbequem und sie rosten. Außerdem wäre es toll, wenn es eine Gartenliege für den Balkon mit dem tollen Meerblick gäbe. Die Restaurants im Zentrum sind in Ordnung. Das Zentrum selbst ist klein, übersichtlich, in wenigen Minuten erforschbar, aber sehenswert.
