The Villa Guardia lies in the neighborhood of S. Agata, a province of Imperia, which is just a few minutes away by car. You can enjoy the fine Ligurian food in the many superb restaurants in Imperia, or just relax on one of the sandy beaches. You can access the house from the private car parking, which you access through the electric gate. The living quarters are spread over two floors. From the spacious kitchen, which is fitted out in a simple and convenient manner, you go directly to the dining area and into the living room, where you can decide what visits to make during your stay. One of the five bedrooms is on this floor, as well as one bathroom with shower. Another large bathroom with shower and massage facility is on the lower floor. There are also four bedrooms, one of which is open, from where there is a magnificent view of the sea and the olive groves of the Ligurian Alps. Villa Guardia will sleep up to ten people comfortably, and even has Internet access, a washing machine, and keep fit equipment. An adjacent, spacious olive terrace is also available to you as a garden, from where you have a fine panoramic view right down to the valley and the sea.

Imperia is the fourth largest town in Liguria. It became a municipality in 1923 as a consequence of the union of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, two towns on the Western Riviera divided by the mouth of the River Impero.

The two nuclei remain distinct despite the administrative merger and extensive property development.

Porto Maurizio was an ally of Genoa from the thirteenth century onwards, while Oneglia, the natural sea outlet of the Impero Valley, was allied with the House of Savoy from 1576. Oneglia's origins as a town date back to mediaeval times. Worth visiting are Palazzo Doria (now completely transformed), which was the birthplace of Andrea Doria, and the church of San Giovanni Battista. Porto Maurizio, which stands on a promontory, began to develop after 1000 AD: the oldest district is called Parasio. The cathedral and the historic buildings are well worth visiting.

1. Ein Pool (da der Strand nur mit dem Auto auf schlechtem Weg erreichbar ist) 2. eine Markise auf der Terrasse 3. Der Grill ist zu weit weg vom Essbereich Fußweg nach Montegrazie, dort befindet sich bei einer Kirche ein gemütliches Restaurant, ist sehr zu empfehlen! Mit BlumenRiviera hat alles super funktioniert, nur das Objekt hat uns leider nicht sonderlich zugesagt.

Der Strand von San Lorenzo ist wunderschön. Santo Stefano ist ein sehr hübsches Städtchen, vor allem am Abend, um zu essen. Das Essen war eigentlich überall sehr gut. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Warmwasserversorgung verbesserungwürdig. Ein Pool vielleicht. ZUm baden mit Kindern sind die Strände von Diano Marina am schönsten.

Baugeländer an der noch im Bau befindlichen Treppe. Ablagefläche, Stuhl, kl. Tisch im mittleren Zimmer im UG (das mit den 2 Einzelbetten) fehlt. Internet sollte funktionieren, wenn es im Prospekt angekündigt ist. Ich musste für die firma arbeiten und konnte es dann leider nicht. der hausbesitzer sagte sonntags, dass er es dienstags konfigurieren würde damit ich arbeiten könne. Er tat es dann aber nicht. Warmwasser war zunächst gar keines vorhanden und dann nicht immer heiß. Außenanlagen und Terrassenbelag im UG (aber der junge sehr nette Hausbesitzer ist ja dran und es ist kein MUSS). Botanischer Garten der Villa Hanbury. Ein Hinweis wo der nächste Bäcker ist, wäre gut. In Montegrazie gibt es keinen mehr.

The furniture was fine. I think you need to give the lacy caretaker of this house a big kick in his button, in my opinnion our stay could have been perfect if he just took care of business(hot water, towels, cleaning, internet).
